DRAMA REMAKE BORDER BORDER©Kaneshiro Kazuki ・tv asahi Detective Ango Ishikawa bounces back and forth between life and death after he gets shot in the head during an investigation. He miraculously recovers, but when he returns to work he realizes he has the ability to speak to the deceased. They provide him with information unknown to others that leads him to the truth. The dead are victims of unforeseen circumstances. The messages they pass on to Ishikawa give rise to stories that move in unthinkable directions. At times, the voices of the dead will push him to the limits of what is acceptable for a detective and he finds himself on dubious grounds that test his moral and professional allegiance. The boundaries between justice and evil, law and mercy, life and death, torment Ishikawa. Nothing is simple because everything is intertwined. But he has to act fast since he will not be able to communicate with the dead once they are cremated and he learns to make hard choices that are not always so clean. In the last episode of the series, he is faced with a heartless serial killer who targets children and out of rage and exasperation, Ishikawa cannot stop himself from instinctively acting out... Cast
