DRAMA One in a Million: Tax Squad おコメの女－国税局資料調査課・雑国室－©tv asahi The Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau’s Document Investigation Division (commonly known as “Kome”). Its staff are said to possess information‑gathering and investigative skills that surpass even those of “Marusa” (the Bureau’s Inspection Department), and each investigator reportedly uncovers billions of yen in hidden income every year. This division, feared by tax evaders, is considered the last line of defense in tax investigations. The story takes place in a newly established, drama‑original section within this “Kome”: the Complex Tax Case Processing Office, nicknamed "Zakkoku." Masako Yoneda creates Zakkoku to handle troublesome cases that are difficult for others to approach, and she assembles a team of uniquely talented individuals. Armed with a firm belief that “neither lies nor money will escape us,” and with the extraordinary abilities of the Zakkoku members, she cuts down corrupt tax evaders without hesitation. Cast
