Yukino Katsuragi, who works at the beverage company "Cat Beverage," is about to turn 35. After being dumped by her boyfriend, with whom she was considering marriage, she has put an end to her search for a spouse and is now enjoying her single life. One day, she meets Mizuki Aoshima, a 26-year-old popular young employee at her company. Despite Aoshima being surrounded by female colleagues, Yukino finds herself completely uninterested.
One evening, while Yukino is enjoying a solo drink at her favorite izakaya after work, she receives a call from a friend who is getting married next week.
