A young French chef named Ken awakens to find himself in the old capital Kyoto around 1560, during the Civil War Period. He has lost his memory, but fortunately he is saved by the famous samurai Nobunaga Oda.
Nobunaga is trying to unify the country. He takes Ken on as a chef and uses his meals to help further his cause. Ken does his best to create meals that meet these challenges using the limited seasonings and spices available to him. But there are no guarantees because Nobunaga has a short fuse!
Will Ken be able to survive the Civil War Period with just his cooking skills, and remember his past?
